Gourmet delights from the Concord Music Group - fitting tributes to Carl Jefferson
Friday, 25 May 2012 18:00

I take this opportunity to congratulate the Concord Music Group for capturing seven Grammys out of a total of fifteen nominations at the recently concluded 54 awards ceremony. Some of the music is now available to Sanch for distribution. In February’s Newsletter, I introduced the Dave Grusin album.

Concord Records was founded in 1972 by the late American entrepreneur Carl Jefferson and has grown to become one of the world’s preeminent independent labels. I was fortunate enough to cross the Golden Gate twice in the mid eighties to spend quality time with him and some of his famous artistes.
